I worked in collaboration with hip-hop producer Bryce Detroit and photographer Shanna Merola, to produce short documentaries in collaboration with environmental justice organizations across the midwest. We were asked to prototype a media-team system for a regional coalition of environmental justice organizations, work with these organizations to clarify their own communications goals, and make budget and capacity recommendations for future teams. For these videos, we commissioned local hip hop artists to write verses that served as the primary narration for the shorts.
